Questions people ask

How much does a service visit cost?

We tell you the visit price on the phone before we come. After we find the problem, we give you an upfront quote, and you approve it before any work starts.

Do you offer same-day service?

Yes, when our schedule allows. Call early in the day for the best chance, and we will tell you the first open time.

What are your hours?

We are open 7 days a week, and emergency calls are answered 24/7.

Do your repairs come with a warranty?

Yes, our repairs come with a warranty. We explain what it covers when you book and when the job is done.

Which brands do you repair?

We repair Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, GE, Bosch, Maytag, Frigidaire, KitchenAid, Viking, Sub-Zero and Wolf, among others. We are an independent company and are not affiliated with any manufacturer.

Should I repair or replace my appliance?

It depends on the age of the appliance, its overall condition and the cost of the part. We explain what we found in plain words so you can decide, and you approve any repair price first.

What should I do before you arrive?

Clear a path to the appliance and move items out of the way. Have the brand, model number and any error code ready. If there is a leak, turn off the water supply valve and wipe up standing water.

What should I check before I call?

Make sure the appliance is plugged in and the breaker hasn't tripped. Check that the door is fully closed, the water valve is open, and, for a dryer, that the lint screen is clean. Unplug the appliance or switch off the breaker before you check anything else.

What payment methods do you accept?

We confirm payment options when you book.

I rent my home. Can I still book a repair?

Yes. Many leases make the landlord responsible for appliance repairs, so check with your landlord or property manager first. Landlords and property managers are welcome to book for a tenant's home.

What area do you serve?

We are based in Land O' Lakes and serve homes within about 20 miles, including Lutz, Odessa, Wesley Chapel, Trinity and nearby towns. If you are just outside that area, call and ask.

What should I do if I smell gas?

Don't turn any switches on or off and don't use the appliance. Leave the home right away and call the gas company or 911 from outside.

My dryer or oven is smoking or smells like burning. What now?

Turn it off, then unplug it or switch off its breaker if you can do so safely. Call us once everyone is safe, and call 911 if there is fire.

Is the food in my fridge safe after a power outage?

The USDA says a refrigerator keeps food cold for about 4 hours if the door stays closed. A full freezer holds for about 2 days and a half-full one for about 1 day. The fridge should stay at 40 °F or lower and the freezer at 0 °F or lower, so keep an appliance thermometer in each.

How can I protect my appliances during hurricane season?

UF/IFAS Extension suggests surge protectors, or unplugging items you don't need, to help protect electronics. If you use a generator, run it only outside and well away from doors, windows and vents.
