A local repair company you can reach
King Appliance Repair is an independent appliance repair company based in Land O' Lakes, Florida. We are licensed and insured, and we bring more than 10 years of experience to every job. We come to your home, find out what is wrong, and fix it.
When the fridge goes warm or the washer stops mid-cycle, the whole house feels it. So we keep things simple. We tell you the visit price on the phone before we come. Then, once we know the problem, you approve the repair price before any work starts.

Florida care tips
Our climate is hard on appliances. Here are a few things worth knowing:
- Humidity. Whirlpool notes that humid room air causes moisture to build inside a fridge, especially when the doors are opened often. A worn door gasket (the rubber seal around the door) can make it worse.
- Hurricane season. The USDA says a closed refrigerator keeps food cold for about 4 hours. A full freezer holds for about 2 days, and a half-full one for about 1 day. Keep a thermometer in both.
- Power surges. UF/IFAS Extension suggests surge protectors, or simply unplugging things you don't need, to help protect electronics during storms.
- Water. Much of the area's water comes from the Floridan Aquifer. Mineral scale can build up in dishwashers, washers and ice makers over time. If you are on a private well, the Florida Department of Health says to test it at least once a year.
